The past two weeks have been a blur of squad leader training, visiting teams and building unity and vision with my co-leaders Emily and Matt.

As we work in the region where Jesus himself walked and taught and served I am reminded of His heart for community. God humbled himself and came to our world as a baby, needing a mother and father to take care of all his needs. He traveled with a group of twelve men, working with them to spread truth throughout the world.
I visit these Syrian refugee families who have nothing but each other, and the love on their faces brings me so much joy. Like them, I also have a beautiful group of people I am fighting to stay with this Christmas, and I need your help.

Here’s the plan: there are just twelve more days until Christmas. You know the song, maids and swans and geese and hens, but this year I’m only asking for Z squad.
There aren’t too many evergreen trees here in the desert so I took the liberty of making one! I would like to fill the space around my tree with lots of presents and make it as festive as possible.

Every box is different.
Small=$150
Medium=$200
Large=$250

Ornaments on the tree are worth $25-100
The star at the top is worth $500

If I am given just 4 large presents, 2 mediums, 2 small ones and 4 ornaments of $100 that will get me to $12,000!!!

A lot of 12 I know, but did you know the number 12 represents God’s authority in the Bible??
Once I reach this next goal (praise God for his faithfulness amen?!) after Christmas I will post a blog on tips I have learned to better walk in the authority and gifts God has given us in this next year!

We are all fighting for His kingdom, will you help me in this way so that I can continue to fight for these young men and women? We want our heavenly family reunion to be the biggest and craziest party ever and for that to happen, we need to raise up a generation of leaders who are zealous to spread the love of Jesus and confident in who they are in Christ.
