Our time in Mojos has ended, but the memories and lessons we learned are something I will never forget. This was exactly the sort of “expedition” I had in mind when I signed up for the World Race.
Along this journey God did some serious breaking of my immense pride and the misguided belief that I need to conquer the world alone. I realized when I was lost in the jungle (I mean this figuratively even though it actually happened), he sent friends back through the trees to find me and lead me home. He taught me that when I’ve reached all physical and mental capacity, His spirit would fill me up and He would take me further then I ever imagined. And most importantly, I learned that God never EVER leaves us. Maybe we can’t feel Him or hear him all the time, but I promise you no matter where you are, you are not alone. Whether deep in the valleys where the sun’s tendrils can’t reach through the vines, or high up on the mountaintop where it seems you could lift your hands above your head and touch the clouds. One thing remains the same, He’s always there.
I prayed a long time ago that God would give me a heart for His people, to see them the way He does. As I continue on this race I’m looking forward to discovering more of this world with the ONE who created it, but more than the beautiful places and awesome adventure it’s His last creation I’ve loved discovering the most. Us. Me. His.
Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Wow, just wow
Trail blazing….this is what it is! What a thick, dense, trail to have to blaze – but YOU DID IT with the best guide ever…The CREATOR himself.
Victory!
Thank you for this beautiful glimpse into your time at Mojos. I know how much you hoped for an experience like this and am thankful God walked with you every step of the way.
